FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT OPENING
SECRETARY - POLICE DEPARTMENT
In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Town of Seabrook and the Seabrook Employees Association, Section 11.6 (2) Vacancies, and in accordance with the Personnel Policy for the Town of Seabrook, Section I,E. Promotion, applications are being accepted from employees for the position of Secretary at the Police Department. This position will provide clerical support to the Police Chief and Deputy Police Chief.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of 6-month secretarial/administrative experience.
• Must possess skills in the following areas: typing, filing, bookkeeping and report writing.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, other Town employees and the public.
• Experience with invoicing, including preparation of reports.
• Must be able to use discretion when dealing with confidential or sensitive information.
Salary: $21.602 to $28.488 hourly, with excellent benefits as provided under the SEA union contract.
