Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Completion of Oregon Certified Nursing Assistant I or Certified Nursing Assistant 2 (Acute Care) Program. Current Oregon Certified Nursing Assistant II Certification. Obtain BLS certification within three months and maintain as current. Experience as a nursing assistant preferred. Meets recertification and continuing education requirements according to level of certification and maintains certification without lapse. Essential Job Functional: Provides direct personal care under supervision of a Registered Nurse within the scope of practice of the Certified Nursing Assistant I or Certified Nursing Assistant 2. Participates as a contributory member of the interdisciplinary team. Completes all documentation within departmental requirements and timelines. Participates in the responsible management of all departmental/hospital resources. Assumes responsibility for meeting annual in-service requirements and ongoing personal development.
