We are currently hiring for a Full-Time Housekeeping Aide:
Schedule: 40 hours/week, 6:00 AM 2:00 PM
Includes: One weekend per month
Pay: $16.95 $18.30/hour + $1.25/hour weekend differential

Position Summary:
As a Housekeeping Aide, you will play an essential role in keeping our facility clean, safe, and welcoming. You will be responsible for sanitizing and maintaining resident and public areas, following infection control protocols, and partnering with other departments to ensure high-quality standards for residents, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Basic computer skills to complete training and access scheduling/payroll portals
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Friendly, professional, and courteous demeanor
Strong customer service skills
Good time management and organizational skills
Ability to read and understand chemical labels and safety instructions
Willingness to support Fairmounts Core Values and Mission
Key Responsibilities:
Follow instructions for proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals
Clean and disinfect public areas, resident rooms, restrooms, and high-touch surfaces
Maintain infection control and sanitation standards
Clean equipment such as wheelchairs and walkers
Keep housekeeping cart and supply closets organized and stocked
Protect the confidentiality of resident information

Employment Qualification of Housekeeping Aide
High School Diploma or GED
Basic Computer Skills to navigate online training, log into website portals for paychecks, PTO and scheduling assignments
Works well independently but in a supportive team environment
Professional and courteous manner
Able to establish positive relationships with residents
Must be able to provide excellent customer service
Must be able to meet deadlines with good time management skills
Must be able to read and write to understand chemicals, proper usage and storage

Essential Job Duties of Housekeeping Aide
Follow instructions for proper chemical handling
Cleans public areas, including restrooms and high traffic areas
Maintains high standards of sanitation, adhering to infection control protocols,
Clean and disinfect specific equipment such as wheelchairs and walkers
Maintains an organized and well stocked housekeeper cart and supply closet
Maintain confidentiality of resident information
Compensation details: 16.95-18.3 Hourly Wage
