This position conducts a daily walk-through of assigned coolers to check the quality of the product and identify any issues. Communicate quality issues to the buyer/receivers/management as needed to resolve quality issues. Responsibilities include conducting daily walk-through of assigned areas to check the work of direct reports and the quality of the product, identifying any quality issues and resolving accordingly, ensuring food safety policies are being upheld, communicating quality issues to buyers, managers, day warehouse, and receivers, supervising and assisting with the rework of all distressed/damaged products, reporting all lost product or transfers to inventory manager, providing training and feedback to direct reports as it relates to quality processes and company procedures, ensuring that safety procedures are being followed daily, coaching and evaluation of employees as needed for safe work and policy compliance, and reviewing the team's congestion management processes (CMP) regularly to ensure they are on track to meet their goals.
