This AI startup is redefining how developers write code by building deeply integrated, context-aware tools that fit seamlessly into modern IDEs. Their mission is to supercharge engineers, not replace them, with intuitive, intelligent interfaces that keep them in flow.
With $250M+ in funding and a projected jump from $1M to $50M in annual revenue, they're scaling fast. The company is backed by top-tier investors and has already assembled a standout team of engineers, product leaders, and AI researchers from companies like Google, Meta, and Pure Storage.
They're now hiring a Frontend Tech Lead to own major parts of their product's UI and architecture. This role is ideal for a builder who thrives in high-ownership environments and cares deeply about developer experience. You'll need expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React first and foremost. If you've shipped AI-native products built on top of foundation models, that's a huge plus. You'll lead development on IDE extensions (VS Code, JetBrains), collaborate with AI researchers and systems engineers, and shape how the next generation of coding tools feels and functions.
The team works hybrid from Palo Alto, with 3 days per week onsite. The culture is fast-moving, low-ego, and focused on shipping thoughtful tools that engineers actually want to use.
Compensation ranges from $220,000 to $300,000 base, plus meaningful equity and full benefits.
Relocation and sponsorship can be supported if needed.
No up-to-date resume required.
