OverviewAbout the Role We are seeking a Front-End Web Developer with strong experience in React and SCSS to join our dynamic development team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining modern, responsive web applications that deliver a seamless user experience.
While this role primarily focuses on front-end development, experience or familiarity with C (.net 8) and SQL Server is a plus, as you will collaborate with multiple team members developing other parts of the final application.
Responsibilities - Develop, optimize, and maintain front-end applications using React and SCSS.
- Implement responsive and accessible UI components using modern front-end development best practices.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers to create seamless user experiences.
- Optimize performance across various devices and browsers.
- Maintain code quality through version control, testing, and best coding practices.
- Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow.
Requirements - Strong proficiency in React.js, including hooks, context API, and component lifecycle.
- Expertise in SCSS for styling and component-based design.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and state management (Redux, Relay, or similar).
- Strong understanding of web performance optimization and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
Nice-to-Have Skills - Experience with C and .NET for backend development.
- Knowledge of SQL Server and database management.
- Familiarity with full-stack development and integrating front-end applications with backend APIs.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks for front-end applications (Jest, React Testing Library, etc.).
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and accessibility standards.
Education and Experience - BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent bachelor's degree.
- 2-10 years of programming and software development life cycles (e.g. Agile, Scrum)
- 2+ years of professional experience as a Front-End Developer
Location and Compensation - This role will be based in Bayview's Denver office
- This role is a hybrid role (3 days per week)
- Base compensation is expected to be $100,000 - $165,000 with the opportunity for incentive
compensation including bonus compensation. However, Bayview considers several factors when
extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work
experience, education/training, location and key skills
