Frontend Infrastructure Engineer - Early-Stage SaaS
Are you a frontend engineer with a startup mindset and a passion for shipping fast, scalable software? You'll be working closely with developers at cutting-edge software companies, building tools they rely on every day.
This role is ideal for engineers who are entrepreneurial at heart-many of your future teammates have either built companies or plan to.
What You'll Do
- Shape internal developer experience. Own and improve the engineering environment-optimize our monorepo, reduce build and deploy times, and improve our release pipeline.
- Lead frontend infrastructure efforts. Implement and scale systems like Storybook, application monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines. Ensure our applications are performant, resilient, and easy to develop.
- Push platform boundaries. We're working closely with a leading frontend hosting provider and regularly engage with their engineering team to solve performance and scale challenges in our multi-tenant application.
- Build meaningful features. Architect and ship features like a rich text WYSIWYG editor to replace Markdown workflows, and an internal changelog system for technical documentation updates.
- Collaborate with customers. Our users range from startups to enterprise dev teams. You'll work directly with them to understand their needs, refine product features, and earn their trust.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of frontend development experience (startups preferred)
- Strong skills in React, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Next.js
- A proactive approach to UX, with experience working closely with product designers
- Comfortable talking to customers and iterating based on their feedback
- Bonus: Familiarity with OpenAPI or similar API spec tools
