Summary/Objective

The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing front desk duties during the night. They must ensure that the quality and integrity of the establishment are maintained just as diligently as they are during the day.

Essential Functions

• Check in customers using computer programs and equipment and provide guests with directions to their room.

• Balancing the accounts from day shift.

• Post room charges and room taxes to guests' accounts. Processes guest credit card vouchers.

• Prepares and sends daily operations reports to management.

• Tracks rooms' revenues, occupancy p

• Audit, post, and balance daily cashiers' work and complies information for hotel's financial records.

• Managing front desk activity and handling guest check-ins and check-outs.

• Ensuring customer satisfaction by scheduling wake-up calls and other concierge activities according to guest preference.

• Generally, as likely the only staff member working at the hotel during the night shift, be cognizant of possible security and maintenance issues that may affect the guests and hotel.

• Handling customer requests and complaints and directing other employees or departments accordingly.

• Ensuring that all end-of-day activities have been successfully executed by employees in all departments.

• Answering calls and queries related to potential booking.

• Acts as MOD in the absence of the GM/AGM.

Work environment

• Ability to stand for most of your shift.

• Hotels operate 24/7 therefore schedules may at times fluctuate based on the needs of the business.

• Standing, walking, bending, stretching, twist, or lifting as much as 25lbs. throughout your scheduled shift.

Required education and experience

• At least one-year Front Desk Experience as Guest Services Agent, or two years' experience in the Hospitality field.

• High School or GED required
