Description:

The Front Office Assistant for our current opening is the first contact for our patients and others via our call center. The colleague will answer incoming calls, verify patient demographics, insurance information, schedule appointments, obtain insurance verifications and assist any other person calling into our practice, maintains incoming faxes and ensures that those reach the correct patient chart as well as the appropriate support staff. This position will also be cross-trained with all other front office roles. This role requires that you greet every caller with the will to help and a great personality.

Requirements:

High school graduate or GED equivalent required

Minimum of 1 year front office and/or medical records experience in physician office or similar setting required

Must be able to use a computer and be familiar with Medical Office programs including EMR systems
