Job DetailsWe're looking for a Strategic Procurement & Invetory Control Specialist to play a key role in our manufacturing environment - supporting critical functions like purchasing, planning, forecasting, and inventory control.
In this highly visible role, you'll serve as a vital part of the supply chain team, helping drive efficiency, improve vendor relationships, and ensure materials are always available to meet production goals. Analyze production schedules and extract ERP data to maintain optimal inventory levels and support timely order fulfillment.
Develop and manage purchase orders, negotiate pricing, and implement cost-saving strategies across suppliers and materials.
Collaborate across departments (planning, sales, customer service) to align purchasing needs with forecasted demand and production schedules.
Monitor and report on KPIs such as inventory turns, aged/obsolete stock, and supplier performance.
Support new product launches by ensuring materials are sourced and available on time.
Lead cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Maintain strong vendor relationships to prevent supply disruptions and support continuous improvement.
What You Bring:
5+ years of experience in manufacturing procurement, supply chain, or material planning.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate trends and recommend improvements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); ERP experience required (Made2Manage a plus).
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or a related field preferred.
Excellent communication, time management, and relationship-building skills.
Familiarity with HACCP, food safety standards, and working in food manufacturing environments is a bonus.

Schedule: 1st Shift 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Flexible to work additional hours as needed)
