Lavender Coffee is seeking a highly motivated Front of House Manager to join our team in Denver, CO. As a Front of House Manager, you will be responsible for managing shop employees, scheduling, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized coffee shop environment. This is a working manager position, so you will be also interacting with customers and helping with orders, as needed. You should have a passion for coffee, possess strong communication skills, and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A strong commitment to quality and a friendly, customer-focused attitude are essential for success in this role, which could lead to growth opportunities within the company for future roles.


Salary: $24 hourly based on experience + tips

Key Responsibilities


  • Coordinate daily front of house operations.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction at all times.
  • Take customer orders, answer questions, and provide recommendations.
  • Operate coffee-making equipment and ensure it is maintained and cleaned.
  • Ensures that all company drink recipes and procedures are followed, maintaining the highest quality and consistent product standards.
  • Ensures that all company food offerings maintain the highest quality.
  • Craft and update employee schedules
  • Daily management and supervision of all staff - including hiring, performance discussions, etc.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure food safety and cleanliness.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide efficient and high-quality service.
  • Learn about different coffee beans, brewing methods, and specialty drinks.
  • Adapt to peak hours and customer demands.
  • Keep up to date with menu changes and promotions.
  • Knowledge of CBD and our retail selection.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • 2-3+ years front of house management experience required.
  • 2-3+ years of barista experience required.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be able to work weekends.
  • Prior coffee shop experience, familiarity with point-of-sale software preferred but not required
  • Café opening and latte art preferred but not required.
  • This position will require frequent standing, walking, and use of hands and arms for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30lbs and frequently bend and twist from the waist.
  • Frequently required to use hand and finger motions, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms.
  • Regularly required to handle food, hot beverages, and work with sharp objects.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written English communication skills
