Gi Group are currently recruiting for Front of House members for an award-winning client in the hospitality sector based in Hunmanby, Filey. This is a full-time permanent position working 5 out of 7 days with 1 weekend off every 4 weeks.
All applicants are required to initially send their CV to register interest in which Gi Group will call for an initial interview via Teams.
This position is varied in relation to duties however core responsibilities include;
Greeting and seating customers
Taking orders via an online till system
Serving food and waiting on tables
Managing and serving drinks in the restaurant / bar
Handling payments and using card machines
Cleaning and resetting tables alongside maintaining upkeep in public areas
Bar stock rotation, cellar and beer maintenance
Checking guests into hotel rooms
Handle payments and float on a daily basis including money balancing
To succeed in this role, a candidate should have;
Experience within the hospitality industry
Ability to present themselves and the company in the best possible light offering a welcoming service to all guests.
Excellent numeracy, literacy and communication skills
Experience with online till systems, card payment machines and generalised IT knowledge
Exceptional timekeeping and time management skills.
Initiative and self-drive to flourish in the role.
