Front end Full Stack Engineer

The Team
The Securities Finance Technology team responsible for management & solution buildout of Stock Borrow Loan, Fully Paid and REPO Trading products for Fidelity Capital Markets business unit.
Fidelity Capital Markets is the institutional trading arm of Fidelity Investments, providing trading products and services to a wide array of clients, including buy-side institutions and hedge funds, as well as to Fidelity's own businesses. Fidelity Capital Markets offers a suite of electronic brokerage products and execution services across multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, options, and FOREX, as well prime brokerage, securities lending, and municipal and bank issued brokered CD underwriting.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual experienced in application development to actively collaborate and work with other team members. The candidate must have strong communication skills and experience interacting with geographically complementary team.

Responsibilities
Works closely with application development teams, architects, and business sponsors to review requirements, evaluate current systems.
Develops Web applications using Spring Boot, Spring JDBC, Spring cache, Spring MVC and writing Junit test cases.
Strong programming skills in using Core and Advance Java, Object Oriented Design principles,
Understanding about design aspects on applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.
Maintains and supports development environments while adopting industry standard tools and methodologies.
Assists in the planning and execution of on-cycle and off-cycle installations.
Responsible for fixing and providing quick solutions to post-installation problems.
Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.
Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.
Experience with Message Queues welcome (MQ, Kafka nice to have)
Strong knowledge of designing and developing highly scalable, distributed data solutions and integration with other middleware and UI applications/solutions
Experience with DevOps, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery using tools like Jenkins and Git.
Experience working in Agile environments, including SCRUM and/or Kanban
Experience with Monitoring tools like Datadog, Kibana, Splunk and Grafana
Good Knowledge on Linux/Unix with troubleshooting skills
Good to have experience with python, AWS services like EKS, S3, IAM, KMS, EC2. Docker.
Financial Services experience is a plus
Please see the below pay rate range for the work location of New Jersey and Rhode Island only: $65.00-106.80 per hour.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.
