Description Kittle Property Group is looking for a Front Desk & Travel Assistant to join our Corporate team at our headquarters in Indianapolis.
Pay: $21/Hour Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm EXPECTATION FOR ALL EMPLOYEES

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible and accountable for coordinating the reception area, office management and providing administrative support to departments as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with day to day operations of building.
- Oversee all aspects of travel including bookings, reconciling receipts, managing all aspects of Concur software, reporting and troubleshooting travel issues.
- Maintain the phone list, seating chart and other lists as needed.
- Prepare work areas for all new Corporate hires prior to start date with necessary office supplies, name plates and lists.
- Create a positive first impression by greeting all visitors in a pleasant, professional and hospitable manner.
- Answer all incoming phone calls professionally and assist callers with general company information (address, directions, phone numbers) or transferring all other callers to the appropriate person.
- Monitor and order office supplies for home office, notify special order recipients when supplies arrive, put away all office supplies and approve site orders.
- Provide administrative support such as typing, filing, mailings, copying, faxing, ordering lunches and proofing.
- Manage conference room schedules and reserve rooms as requested by staff.
- Provide adequate supply of postage meter funds, drinking water and vending.
- Receive, sort and distribute all incoming mail or car deliveries.
- Check conference and break rooms daily to be sure they are in good condition.
- Call for repair of all office equipment including the postage machines, vending, coffee/water service, and notifying building management of office/building maintenance.
- Maintain and distribute the phone list, speed dial list and mail boxes.
- Assist with coordinating events.
- Keep office organized and contact cleaning company as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1-2 years of experience
- Ability to read, write, speak and interpret basic instructions, simple correspondence and present information one-on-one or in small groups.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Organizational skills.
- Must be observant and know when a high level of urgency is necessary.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to do basic math.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems that involve concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Computer Skills - Proficiency with MS Office and Teams.
