About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at The Heathman Lodge H otel. As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the front desk, providing exceptional guest service, and maintaining the confidentiality of guest information. You will be a key member of the front office team, working closely with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our guests receive the highest level of service and satisfaction during their stay.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in a front desk or guest service role
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field
  • Supervisory experience in a hotel or hospitality setting
  • Experience with room service and other guest requests
  • Ability to use sound judgment and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train front desk staff to ensure exceptional guest service
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including guest information and room status
  • Resolve guest complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with room service and other guest requests as needed
  • Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times

Skills:

As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will use your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to provide outstanding guest service and resolve any issues that may arise. You will also use your knowledge of Opera and other property management systems to maintain accurate records and reports. Your problem-solving and decision-making skills will be essential in identifying and solving problems quickly and efficiently. Additionally, your ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and use sound judgment will be critical in ensuring the safety and security of our guests and their belongings. Overall, your skills will be used to provide a seamless and exceptional guest experience at The Heathman Lodge.

Compensation details: 16.66-18 Hourly Wage
