Overview:
The Spencer Hotel and Spa, situated in the picturesque heart of Chautauqua, NY, is seeking motivated and personable individuals to join our Front Desk team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional hospitality experience. Key Responsibilities:
Guest Services:
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm, friendly demeanor.
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience.
- Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Provide accurate information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
Reservation Management:
- Manage reservations via phone, email, and online booking systems.
- Process payments, verify guest information, and handle billing inquiries.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date records in the hotel's reservation system.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready for new guests.
- Liaise with other departments to fulfill special guest requests and arrangements.
- Communicate effectively with team members to maintain a seamless operational flow.
Administrative Duties:
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record-keeping.
- Maintain the front desk area in a neat and organized manner.
- Assist in other areas of hotel operations as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Familiarity with front desk operations and reservation systems is a plus.
