DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Serves as first point of contact for our quests with friendly greetings and exceptional guest service that exceeds our guests' expectations.
- Registers guests, collects payment, and registers data regarding payment for expenditures.
- Provides quotes for guests and upsell rooms whenever possible.
- Performs all check-in and check-out tasks.
- Ensures all charges are applied to the correct guest account.
- Resolves all guest disputes.
- Answers external and internal telephone inquiries, deliver mail and respond to inquiries regarding the casino promotions, events, restaurants, surrounding area and attractions.
- Ensures all cash and cash equivalents are accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Provides administrative and program support to management and staff.
- Greets all guests and ensures an exceptional customer service experience.
- Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
- Communicate with housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean and ready to accommodate guests needs.
- Maintains a working knowledge of business objectives in order to deliver quality products and service that meets guest needs.
- Works in a clean, sanitary, safe, and organized manner abiding by all health and safety regulations.
- Maintains a professional appearance and acts as a role model according to the established grooming and appearance policy.
- Stays informed on casino facilities, as well as current and upcoming special events, in order to advise guests and fellow team members, whenever possible.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS - Hotel and casino industry experience preferred.
- Knowledge of principles and practices regarding customer service in the casino/hotel industry.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- Applicants should possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and utilize a variety of standard computer systems/office productivity software at an intermediate or advanced level
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must have ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
