Your Role: As an Evening Front Desk Representative, you will be the heartbeat of our institution during your shifts. Your professional demeanor and friendly smile will greet students and visitors, while your exceptional organizational abilities will help ensure everything runs smoothly. You'll manage essential clerical functions, maintain an inviting front desk area, and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments. Ready to make a difference?
Shift Details: Evening Shift: 3:30pm - 9:30pm (Monday-Friday) and 8:00am - 5pm (Saturday)
Key responsibilities: - Warmly welcome and direct students and visitors, making each feel valued and supported.
- Assist with scheduling and planning activities to keep our operations flowing seamlessly.
- Manage incoming calls and inquiries, ensuring everyone gets the help they need.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the front desk area and student lounge.
- Coordinate service calls for copy machines and printers to keep us well-equipped.
- Provide support to students and faculty with any computer-related issues.
- Embrace additional tasks assigned by the Nursing Program Administrator, showing your adaptability.
Requirements - Listening Skills: Ability to absorb and act on instructions effectively, ensuring clear communication throughout the day.
- People Skills: Your first point of contact with visitors, you will engage with prospective and current students, staff, and faculty. Your interpersonal skills will shine in creating a welcoming environment.
- Organizational Expertise: Juggling various tasks is your forte. Your strong organizational skills will help you manage scheduling, phone inquiries, and visitor management with ease.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in using computers for emails, note-taking, document creation, and data management. A daily requirement to keep our operations running smoothly.
