Position Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Front Desk Receptionist to join our team in a full-time, in-person role, where you'll play a vital part in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for our patients and visitors. Our front desk team member will serve as the welcoming face and voice of our physicians and staff-providing support and care to everyone they assist, whether over the phone, online, or in person.

Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:
Administrative Duties:
  • Greets and assists patients, visitors, and vendors, setting the example for positive attitude and exceptional customer service delivery.
  • Patient Check-in/ Check-out
  • Coordinates and communicates patient/provider schedules, ensuring follow-up and tracking of all patient referrals, prescriptions, appointments, cancellations and reschedules.
  • Ensures all patient records are accurate, complete, compliant, current, and managed
  • Handles multi-line phone calls with a focus on addressing patient concerns, coordinating with vendors, and warmly engaging with potential new patients as part of our marketing efforts.
  • Maintains patient database, updating information as needed.
  • Organizes front office space, consistently evaluating needs assessment to ensure the greatest efficiency of operations and productivity.
  • Performs over-the-counter collections of co-pays, deductibles, and cash payments, following standard operating procedures of tracking, storing, and discarding all information.
  • Consistently reviews all patient documents for accuracy and HIPPA compliance.
  • Participates in company training sessions and team building activities, including webinars and meetings.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift 20-25 pounds regularly; occasional lifting of 40-50 pounds may be required.

  • Adhere to facility and OSHA safety protocols
  • Respect patients' cultural and religious practices
  • Uphold HIPAA regulations
  • Maintain punctuality and reliability for scheduled shifts
Position Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1 Year Minimum of related experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • Working Knowledge in Athena EHR preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Clear background check and compliance with all federal, state, and organizational credentialing requirements
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
Compensation: Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour, commensurate with experience
