Job Summary: Performs broad clerical duties within a general area/office. Works independently and may initiate letters or reports.
Typical Duties: Performs the usual clerical and accounting routines and practices to assist in an efficient office; or to support on accounting systems; e.g., typing, routine computation, data verification and data entry.
- Maintains regular filing system and processes records and incoming correspondence, as requested.
- Maintains and compiles routine office reports.
- Operates office equipment, such as copy machines, stamp machine, and microfilm.
- Provides information to various personnel, outside agencies, and the community when requested.
- Receives, processes, and distributes the mail.
- Schedules and arranges appointments as requested.
- Performs bookkeeping takes, such as payroll associated with the specific position.
- Orders and maintains office equipment and supplies as necessary.
- In the presence of students, displays personal conduct which sets an example for students to emulate.
11. Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Requirements: 1 . High school diploma or equivalency.
- Ability to use basic office procedures and equipment.
- Clerical experience.
