We are looking to offer part-time hours with the potential of becoming full-time for the right individuals.
Duties will mostly include various administrative tasks including:
- Checking patients in and out
- Collecting co-pays and other payments
- Answering phones, scheduling and confirming appointments
- Pulling insurance authorizations and checking eligibility
Characteristics required for the job:
- Strong attention to details.
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to learn from experiences to plan with a great deal of autonomy
- Self-directed approach with motivation and self-initiation.
- Ability to keep cool under pressure and remain emotionally stable and consistent
Education:
An associate's degree, bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience in similar positions, including formal training in clerical tasks and handling a variety of organizational duties.
Additional qualifications:
- A pleasant telephone manner
- The ability to stay organized
- Experience using computers and learning software
- The ability to write clearly
- A typing speed of at least 50 words per minute
- The ability to work well with other staff members
