SUMMARY:

The Front Desk Coordinator will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, flow of correspondence, as well as additional clerical duties.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate associate. Transfers calls to voice mailbox when associates are unavailable.

2. Responsible for daily night service activation and deactivation.

3. Prepares invoices for mailing by matching packing slips to invoice.

4. Greets and directs visitors to the company.

5. Retrieves and forwards messages left in general mailbox to proper personnel

6. Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website, and other related information.

7. Assist in verifying credit references for new accounts and provide references for existing customers.

8. Sort and distribute mail

9. Call Fed-Ex (Express pick-ups)

10. General Customer Service Support.

11. Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities such as filing and related tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

2. Must possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills.

3. Must have strong organizational skills.

4. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.

5. Able to work collectively with entire office.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Required to sit for approximately 90% of day.

2. Stooping or bending approximately 10% of day.

3. Ability to lift 5-7 lb
