We're seeking a reliable and customer-focused Front Desk Cashier to join our team at Compupod. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate inventory. You'll be the face of our store, assisting customers with repairs, sales, and inquiries, while also managing stock to keep our operations running seamlessly.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly, handle inquiries, and process transactions (repairs, sales) using our POS system (RepairQ).
- Manage front desk operations, including scheduling repair appointments and providing updates on service status.
- Assist with basic tech support inquiries (e.g., screen protector installation, troubleshooting).
- Restock showcases, label items, and ensure a clean, professional store appearance.
- Handle cash and digital payments, ensuring accurate daily cash-outs.
- Collaborate with technicians to coordinate repair workflows.
- Support promotional activities (e.g., giving out flyers).
- Provide bilingual support (English/Spanish) to assist our diverse customer base.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in retail, customer service, or cashier roles (tech retail experience a plus).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset.
- Basic tech knowledge (e.g., familiarity with phones, computers, POS systems).
- Inventory experience (e.g., stock organization, labeling).
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred, not required).
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Flexible availability (including weekends; typical hours 9:00 AM-8:00 PM).
