The Venice office provides these services in Sarasota and Charlotte County.
About this Role: A Front Desk Assistant is responsible for managing the front desk operations, providing excellent customer service, and performing various administrative tasks to ensure a smooth workflow in the office. Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, 6 paid Holiday's off a year.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist clients, caregivers and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Provide assistance to the HR, Scheduling, Nursing and Recruiting departments.
Accept all incoming calls and route to the correct department.
Maintain accurate records and update client information in our database.
Remain organized with the strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
Coordinate with departments and caregivers to ensure seamless communication.
Process incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and office supplies.
Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining staff credentials.
Ensure the front desk area is organized and presentable at all times.
Support the overall operations of the office to enhance client and caregiver satisfaction.
ON-CALL REQUIREMENT: After proper training, this role will require on-call rotation once every 3-4 weeks, separate compensation paid.
Agency Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration are a plus but not required.
Experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably in healthcare.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Ability to learn the WellSky platform and basic office equipment.
Compassionate, patient, and friendly demeanor to create a welcoming atmosphere.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
State Requirements:
Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
Second form of ID such as Social Security Card or Passport
Current or willingness to complete CPR Certification (hands-on class)- we offer $60 course
TB Test results completed within the last 6 months or willingness to obtain
Current or willingness to complete Level 2 Background Screening for the state of FL
