Tower23 is currently seeking Front Desk Agents to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a high-volume, boutique hotel environment to continue the tradition of excellence and service for which Tower23 is known.

Must have the availability and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Hotel Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
  • Friendly and outgoing
  • Ensure customer interaction and experience meets and exceeds expectations
  • Greet and assist all guests with a positive, friendly attitude and professional demeanor
  • Project a willing "Can do attitude"
  • Enhance quality assurance standards
  • Promote safety awareness and practice safe work habits
  • Support and comply with hotel policies and procedures
  • Effectively communicate with supervisors and co-workers
  • Excellent customer service and confident on the phone
  • Computer literate and phone skills are a must
  • Understanding of lifestyle hotel services
  • Ability to multitask in a high profile, high traffic environment
  • Team oriented and self-motivated, able to work unsupervised
  • Coordinate all guest requests for special arrangements or services in a courteous and efficient manner
  • Attend to immediate needs of VIPs upon arrival and follow through with attention throughout their stay
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Reservations and guest check-in/check-out using hotel management software
  • Have/Maintain knowledge about all aspects of the local scene all around San Diego. Provide information of the San Diego area to guests such as directions, dining suggestions, and area highlights.
  • Provide information and answer questions about local area attractions and things to do
  • Recognize all return guests and know their special requests
  • Assist guests with luggage if necessary
  • Website control of room inventory and pricing
  • Organize and coordinate guest room packages/deliveries

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required

to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the company.
