Job Summary The Admiral's Inn is a year-round hotel located in Ogunquit, ME. We are looking to add an upbeat Front Desk Agent to our team to manage all aspects of the hotel guest's experience. This is a full time position and will be a combination of mornings, afternoons and evenings. Weekends and holidays are included. Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of reservations.
  • Perform all tasks associated with the reservation process; check-in, check-out, room assignments, handling keys, etc.
  • Manage in person, online and phone reservations
  • Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
  • Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
  • Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
  • Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs
  • Upsell additional services and enhancements, when appropriate
  • Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
  • Other duties and tasks may be assigned to you on a day to day basis.
Qualifications The following is preferred but not required
  • Prior experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar role, is preferred. We provide extensive training and support.
  • Experience with hotel reservations software
  • Customer service experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
