Front Desk Agent - Saturday & Sunday AM/PM Shifts Join our team in Louisville, KY, US as a Front Desk Agent. We are seeking a warm and welcoming individual to ensure our guests have a pleasant stay. • Greet and check in hotel guests upon arrival
• Ensure that rooms are correctly booked and allocated to guests
• Follow all credit, cash-handling, and check-cashing protocols
• Keep up-to-date records of room availability, prices, and types
• Present guests with hotel services and alternatives in order to increase sales
• Be informed of the hotel's amenities, services, and activities
• Communicate room status updates with housekeeping staff
• Refresh meeting rooms as needed
• Be informed of what businesses offer in the downtown area so you can assist guests in making their trip everything they imagine
• Be able to work on your feet for a typical shift for 8 hours at a time in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous customer service or hospitality experience is preferred
• Working knowledge of Opera is a bonus
• Excellent communication skills in English, the primary language used in the workplace
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time (8 hours per shift)
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Strong typing, grasping, writing, and listening skills
• A positive attitude is essential
