What You'll Do:
  • Greet Guests: Receive incoming guests and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Handle Reservations: Respond to telephone inquiries and incoming reservations while promoting hotel services.
  • Maximize Revenue: Ensure maximum room revenues through effective communication and upselling.
  • Maintain Confidentiality: Protect proprietary and guest information; safeguard company assets and guest privacy.
  • Communicate Professionally: Speak clearly and professionally; answer phones using proper etiquette.
  • Share Knowledge: Be familiar with hotel amenities, room rates, promotions, restaurants, and local venues.
  • Manage Cash: Handle assigned safety deposit box, perform daily cash deposits, and comply with variance policy.
  • Complete Checklists: Follow the Daily Checklist with accountability and accuracy.
  • Process Transactions: Accurately count cash and complete shift reports.
  • Support the Team: Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Be available for venue/event-driven schedules, including evenings, weekends, and long hours.
What We're Looking For:
  • High School Diploma or GED: Required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: College credits, 1-2 years of experience, Hospitality or Customer Service Certification, excellent phone etiquette, Online Travel Agent experience, and bilingual in Shoshone-Bannock or Spanish.
  • Special Skills: Motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills.
  • Certificates, License, and Registrations: Must submit supporting documents of education and training. Must obtain and maintain a valid Driver's License and qualify for Fleet Management coverage.
Physical Demands:
  • Communication: Ability to talk and hear regularly.
  • Mobility: Ability to stand for long periods (6-10 hours), walk, sit, use hands and fingers, and reach with arms.
  • Lifting: Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Vision: Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
  • Public Environment: Work in a public setting with moderate noise levels.
  • Equipment Use: Use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.
