JOB SUMMARY What will you do as a Front Desk Agent with The Marshall House?

Extend warm and enthusiastic greetings to all guests.

Facilitate the check-in and check-out processes for guests.

Answer inquiries regarding room details, hotel amenities, and local attractions, including shopping, dining, entertainment, and provide travel directions as needed.

Manage direct phone reservations, precisely conveying hotel rates and information, while also employing persuasive sales techniques to boost room bookings, increase occupancy, and enhance revenue.

Offer personalized recommendations and assist with reservation and itinerary planning.

Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with the team to achieve our goals.

Attend required training and meetings.

All other duties as assigned, planned or un-planned.

Physical Abilities:

Continuous movement: You should be able to stay active throughout your shift.

Regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25 pounds.

Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift.

Comfort with repetitive motions.

Education & Experience:

No high school diploma/GED is required. This job is open to individuals without formal education qualifications.

This position is suitable for individuals just entering the workforce or returning to work with limited prior experience.

Basic English communication skills are necessary, including both written and verbal abilities.
