Description
We're looking for a friendly and reliable person to join our team as a part-time Front Desk Agent. This position is for 4 shifts per week:
  • Monday to Wednesday: 6:30 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Thursday: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Additional shifts may be available to cover vacations, but this is not guaranteed or on a regular basis.

About the Role:

Providing excellent customer service is our top priority. The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with guests, helping them feel welcome, and ensuring they have a great experience. Responsibilities include:
  • Handling hotel and restaurant reservations
  • Answering phones and guest questions
  • Managing retail sales at the front desk
  • Using our reservation and communication systems (text and email)
  • Multitasking between phone calls and in-person interactions
This position also includes setting up, restocking, and cleaning up our continental breakfast (7:30 AM - 10:30 AM). All breakfast items are pre-prepared-no cooking required.

Requirements:
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Comfortable working with computers and learning new systems
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Available to work occasional weekends and holidays
New Hire Bonus.

We offer a sign-on bonus for new team members, paid out in stages based on attendance and time in the role:
  • $200 after 30 days
  • An additional $300 after 90 days
  • An additional $500 after 180 days

Our restaurant and pub serve a loyal local following and visiting guests alike, with seating for up to 124 including seasonal outdoor dining. We also host a variety of private events and meetings in our function spaces, making The Norwich Inn a lively and welcoming destination for travelers and locals year-round.
