Our client, a leading supplier of natural stone, brick, and masonry products, is seeking a Front Desk Counter Sales Associate to join their team. As a Front Desk Counter Sales Associate, you will be a primary point of contact for customers and the face of the business. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and energetic personality, solid communication skills, and the ability to multi-task and perform well in a fast paced work environment which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Front Desk Counter Sales Associate-Building & Masonry Products

Location: Durham, NC

Shift: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm

Pay Range: $19 per hour

What's the Job?
  • Be the friendly face that welcomes customers and provides expert guidance on stone, brick, masonry, and landscaping products
  • Assist customers in store and over the phone with product selection, pricing, and availability
  • Operate the register and handle transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Scan and ring up items for customers
  • Answer customer questions and provide information on stone and other masonry products
  • Work both indoors (70% of job indoors) and outdoors (30% outdoors)
  • Maintain a clean and pleasant work environment
What's Needed?
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of previous retail and cashier experience, preferably in a related industry
  • Solid understanding of sales principles, customer service practices, and inventory procedures
  • Proficiency in English; Spanish bilingual skills are a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
