Position Overview: We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused
Front Counter Customer Service Representative to join a fast-paced tire and auto service shop in Oklahoma City. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with tire knowledge or previous experience as a service writer or tire technician who want to remain active in the automotive industry without performing heavy physical labor.
Key Responsibilities: - Greet and assist walk-in customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, tires, and scheduling
- Provide accurate product and pricing information to customers
- Create and manage work orders using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system
- Collaborate with the shop manager and technicians to ensure efficient workflow
- Order tires and parts as needed
- Review completed tickets for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain and update customer records and service notes in the database
- Address customer concerns promptly and professionally
- Keep the front office area clean, stocked, and organized
Qualifications: - Previous experience as a service writer or tire technician is required
- Experience in the tire or auto service industry preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn POS systems
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and a team player
