Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73107
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Pay: $16.00+/hour (based on experience)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Front Counter Customer Service Representative to join a fast-paced tire and auto service shop in Oklahoma City. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with tire knowledge or previous experience as a service writer or tire technician who want to remain active in the automotive industry without performing heavy physical labor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist walk-in customers in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, tires, and scheduling
  • Provide accurate product and pricing information to customers
  • Create and manage work orders using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system
  • Collaborate with the shop manager and technicians to ensure efficient workflow
  • Order tires and parts as needed
  • Review completed tickets for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain and update customer records and service notes in the database
  • Address customer concerns promptly and professionally
  • Keep the front office area clean, stocked, and organized
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a service writer or tire technician is required
  • Experience in the tire or auto service industry preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn POS systems
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and a team player
