Apply for this Job

Location: Los Angeles (On-site required: Studio, Store, and Manufacturer visits)

Kinn is a fine jewelry brand reimagining modern heirlooms-grounded in craftsmanship, storytelling, and the milestones that shape us. We're looking for a part-time freelance content creator to help bring our world to life through thoughtful, social-first content that reflects the richness and intention behind everything we do.

This isn't about TikTok trends or commercial polish. We're looking for someone who can intuitively understand Kinn's aesthetic and brand pillars and create content that feels elevated, intimate, and true-designed primarily for Instagram (Feed, Reels, and Stories).

To be considered for the role, please submit one piece of content (a short-form video or carousel) that you believe could live naturally on our Instagram feed. It should reflect a clear understanding of Kinn's aesthetic: elevated, understated, and performance-minded. The execution is entirely up to you-we're looking for instinct, taste, and a thoughtful approach to storytelling. Email:

What You'll Do:

  • Create social-first visual content (photo + video) that aligns with Kinn's tone and visual identity
  • Regularly visit our LA studio, Culver City flagship store, and manufacturer for behind-the-scenes storytelling (at least once a week)
  • Capture our team at work-styling appointments, design sketches, stone selections, content shoots, etc.
  • Document trunk shows, store activations, and new collection moments in a natural, non-commercial way
  • Work closely with our brand and marketing team to storyboard and pitch new ideas that tap into our content pillars: craftsmanship, personal storytelling, design, team culture, and community
  • Edit short-form video and photo content for social that feels elevated, timeless, and emotionally resonant

Who You Are:

  • Proactive, responsible, and organized. We are a lean team and you must be a self-starter to thrive in this environment.
  • A natural visual storyteller with a documentary-style lens-less glossy, more real
  • Strong eye for lighting, composition, and detail
  • Experienced in creating content for luxury or design-forward brands (jewelry or fashion a plus)
  • Comfortable directing talent, capturing candid moments, and working on-site
  • Skilled in editing short-form video content for social platforms (Instagram primary)
  • Must be LA-based and available 1-2 days a week for in-person visits (more around launches/events)

Commitment & Compensation:

  • Freelance, retainer-based
  • Part-time: estimated 10-15 hours/week
