Role Summary

Free People Movement is looking for an Associate Manager to serve as the wholesale liaison between omni buyers, sales, and planning to ensure consistent and clear communication regarding the wholesale collection.

Role Responsibilities

Preseason Line Development:

- Assist in developing seasonal line plans that support account needs taking into account history, trend, brand initiatives and account needs.

- Assist Merchandising Manager in building out the big ideas each season.

Help manage the go to market strategy front to back:

- Go To Market tool maintenance

- Prepare sales team to Go To Market by assisting in creating a strong preshow and ensuring all selling tools are updated after major milestone meetings

- Recap and communicate updates regarding the wholesale collection after all major milestone meetings.

- Ensure all account exclusives and adjustments are actioned on working with buying, planning and sourcing to adjust as needed.

In Season:

- Act as main point of contact for sales offices regarding product details, calendar, and deliveries.

Manage Calendar, Process and Projects:

- Ensure all calendar deliverables are happening on time and in a thorough and complete manner.

- Manage operations needed for off-calendar special projects and exclusives to ensure they come to fruition in timely manner.

- Partner with planning to manage monthly transfer style list and assist in the communication and operations needed to complete.

- Manage occasional sample pulling and shipping for special appointments and unique account needs.

Role Qualifications

- Bachelors Degree and 2+ years of retail experience in buying, sales, planning, or merchandising

- Proficient in Microsoft tools

- Strong communication skills

- Organized, flexible, accountable and self-motivated

- Passion and eye for product
