Job description This role will be a Manager supporting the Senior Manager of FP&A. Primary responsibilities will be project-level Opex and Capex budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, value capture, and other analysis across a portfolio of projects. Additional responsibilities include supporting the broader McKesson Technology Finance team and respective McKesson Technology business partners and stakeholders through various reporting, analysis, and governance activities. This role will also be responsible for working with the broader McKesson Technology Finance team to help simplify, standardize, and automate our processes. The Manager will work closely with McKesson Technology's delivery leaders and project/program managers to support the following activities and ensure adherence to financial controls and policies with limited oversight of the Senior Manager. Opex and Capex budgeting and forecasting: Drive financial transparency, accountability, insights, and improvement in forecast accuracy through periodic forecasting and budgeting activities across a portfolio of IT investment projects. Lead monthly forecast reviews with applicable stakeholders. Month-end close: Support and improve efficiency of various month-end close processes including accruals, reclasses, and other journal entries, as well as monthly variance analysis Value capture: Assist with developing and/or reviewing business cases or similar analyses supporting investment decision making, as well as value realization and reporting Ad hoc analysis and process improvement Qualifications and critical skills Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, economics or other business field 6+ years relevant experience in finance/accounting, preferably in technology finance for a large corporate entity Advanced Excel skills including proficiency with financial modeling Proficiency with PowerBI or other visualization tools preferred Experience with SAP and BPC Relationship building and strong communication skills Strong organization and time management skills; able to successfully manage competing priorities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a desire to drive change Strong critical thinking skills and ability to navigate through complex issues, interpret and transform financial data into recommendations to senior leadership Physical Requirements Working from office 1-2 days a week We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
