FP&A Analyst
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join their finance team. The FP&A Analyst will play a key role in providing financial insights, analysis, and decision support to help drive the company's business performance. This individual will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis, and will work closely with various departments to support strategic initiatives and financial goals.

Responsibilities
  • Support the preparation of management presentations and financial summaries for senior leadership.
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
  • Monitor financial performance against the budget and forecast, providing insights and recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Conduct variance analysis and identify key drivers behind budget-to-actual discrepancies.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting performance trends and key metrics.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data to support decision-making.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, including profitability analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and investment evaluations.
  • Collaborate with business units to provide financial insights that influence operational and strategic decisions.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities and propose actions to optimize business performance.
  • Assist in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to improve business performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, accounting, or a related finance role.
  • Prior experience in Public Accounting is desirable.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
  • Experience with financial/accounting systems and data visualization tools (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, Tableau, etc.).
  • Knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
