You'll be the cornerstone of our security program, building the fortress that protects millions of customers' financial data while enabling rapid AI innovation. Your Impact As our first Security Engineer, you'll:
- Architect security infrastructure, working directly with our engineering team and CTO
- Lead security framework implementation while maintaining our innovation pace
- Create a company-wide security culture through engaging training programs

Required Qualifications - 3+ years of information security experience
- Bachelors degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
- Strong experience with AWS cloud security (GuardDuty, WAF, Shield, Route 53, Well Architected)
- Experience with compliance standards (SOC 1, SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS)
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and Next.js framework
Preferred Qualifications - Experience in fintech or banking, or other highly regulated industries
- Background in application, data, and/or infrastructure security
- Experience building security programs from scratch
- Site Reliability Engineering experience
- Familiarity with modern observability platforms
