ABOUT THE ROLE:


As the Marketing Manager at GovSignals, you'll be on the frontlines of sharing disruptive govtech solutions with the world. This includes telling the story of how cutting-edge tech is catapulting the most innovative businesses to receive government funding critical for national infrastructure or security. And it means being able to tell the world about some of the most disruptive AI solutions built by a seasoned founding team. Are you tired of being asked to market run of the mill stories about widgets? At GovSignals, you'll be on the cutting edge helping to share groundbreaking stories with the world. GovSignals has grown 1200% in the last 8 months from what was already a considerable size.


You'll drive all things marketing from social media strategy to brand strategy, press releases & public relations, SEO, blogs, paid ads (Google Ads & Linkedin Ads), newsletters, videos, and of course, we want you to bring your own moonshot ideas. You'll work closely with our 4 co-founders to strategize on how to 100X our marketing efforts, and then execute that vision from beginning to end.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conceptualize & execute on full marketing campaigns from beginning to end
  • Generate press releases & build a large public relations funnel
  • Manage & scale GovSignals' social media presence across platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
  • Set in motion a strategy to generate hundreds of high quality blogs (with AI of course)
  • Design, launch, and scale a newsletter to tens of thousands of people
  • Collaborate with the product team to rollout new updates to current clientele & prospects
  • Build effective marketing collateral for the sales team, conferences, and other venues
  • Build a highly engaging presence at conferences, bolstering the sales team
  • Leverage video, podcasts, awards, etc for founding team
  • Be the keeper of the brand; identify industry trends & competitor activities
  • Analyze marketing metrics & provide regular performance reports

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-10+ years of marketing-related experience, more is highly appreciated
  • Strong social media management and content creation capabilities
  • Organic (SEO) and paid ads experience ideal; B2B marketing
  • Basic design experience preferred (posters, flyers, graphics, etc)
  • Great writing quality
  • High learning velocity & self-autonomous
  • Interest in government contracting and/or B2B SaaS is a plus
  • Critical thinking and self-project management abilities are a must
  • Previous startup experience or fast-paced work experience

Compensation:

$70k - $120k total comp + Equity depending on years of marketing experience. 100% United Health Bronze Plan Coverage for medical, dental, and vision.
