What You Will Do

  • Take full ownership of the Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) engine from day one.
  • Work directly with founders and sales leadership to develop and execute growth experiments across multiple channels.
  • Identify and prioritize high-leverage opportunities in areas such as sponsorships, partnerships, events, referral programs, and demand generation campaigns.
  • Launch quickly, test often, and iterate on strategies to drive consistent SQL delivery.
  • Build foundational growth marketing systems and scalable processes from the ground up-no legacy systems or existing playbooks to manage.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a seamless handoff from marketing to sales, measuring and optimizing the full funnel from first touch to SQL conversion.

Ideal Candidate Background

  • 4+ years of experience in growth marketing, demand generation, or performance marketing, preferably in an early-stage or high-growth startup.
  • Proven track record of designing and executing marketing strategies that led to measurable revenue growth.
  • Experience owning a funnel or customer journey from awareness through to handoff to sales.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and a data-driven mindset-you know how to measure what matters.
  • Self-starter with strong project management abilities and a bias for action; you're comfortable operating independently.
  • Strong communicator who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments.

Preferred

  • Prior experience as the first growth hire or building a growth function from scratch.
  • Background in B2B SaaS, marketplaces, or HR/recruiting tech.
  • Familiarity with using modern marketing tools (HubSpot, Webflow, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Ads, etc.)
  • Experience working closely with early-stage founders or founding teams.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary Range: $150,000 - $250,000
  • Equity Range: 0.01% - 0.25%
