The Role
As our Founding Frontend Engineer/Lead, you'll lead all things UI/UX and frontend architecture. You'll shape the product experience for patients, caregivers, and clinicians navigating serious illness - from system design to pixel-perfect implementation. You'll collaborate closely with product and design to bring empathy, precision, and performance into every interaction.
This isn't just a "build what's spec'd" role - you'll be a critical thought partner in product decisions, and your code will directly affect how people experience care.
What You'll Own
- Full ownership of the frontend - React, TypeScript, design system, testing, and perf
- Translate complex care workflows into intuitive UI with real-world constraints
- Collaborate tightly with product, design, and backend to deliver thoughtful UX
- Set the bar for quality, performance, and accessibility
- Shape how we scale: systems, processes, and future hires
