The Role We are looking for a talented and adaptable Full Stack Developer to join us as a founding engineer. You'll play a pivotal role in building our product from the ground up, taking charge of developing and maintaining our full-stack application. Responsibilities - Full-Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust front-end and back-end systems.
- Technical Leadership: Collaborate closely with the founding team to define the product roadmap and technical strategy.
- Product Development: Translate business needs into innovative technical solutions with high-quality code.
- Startup Collaboration: Adapt quickly to changes and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Best Practices: Implement software development best practices including code reviews, testing, and full documentation.
- Mentorship: Opportunity to build and lead a technical team as Carvis expands.
Qualifications - Experience: 4+ years of experience in shipping and maintaining production-grade services.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in at least one front-end framework (e.g., Flutter, React, Vue) and back-end framework (e.g., FastAPI).
- Startup Environment: Prior experience in a startup or a personal commitment to open-source projects or side projects.
- Versatility: Ability to manage multiple tasks and wear different hats as required.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications - AI & ML: Experience with Generative AI frameworks (e.g., Langchain, LlamaIndex) and application development.
- MLOps: Familiarity in creating data pipelines for filtering and cleaning data for production use.
- DevOps Knowledge: Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and containerization with tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
