An NYC startup is hiring a Founding Engineer to help architect a new L1 blockchain from the ground up.
Backed by top funds, they've raised over $5m and built a tight-knit team of engineers and researchers. The chain is custom-built around trusted hardware, using familiar tooling but restructured for private-by-default execution.
As a Founding Engineer, you will:
- Design and implement core protocol logic in Rust
- Work across execution, consensus, and networking
- Improve developer experience while maintaining low-level performance
- Shape engineering direction and culture from day one
They're looking for a Founding Engineer who:
- Has strong Rust skills (C/C background also welcome)
- Brings deep systems-level engineering experience
- Has worked in a startup or small team before
- Knows the EVM stack
- Is NYC-based or open to relocating (relocation support included)
This is a rare chance to join early, own foundational code, and build a real protocol from scratch.
Base comp is $180k-$200k + equity. On-site only. $10k relocation assistance is available.
If you're excited by systems problems and early-stage energy, APPLY NOW.
