We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Foundation Seed Coordinator to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This unique and exciting role focuses on overseeing the entire lifecycle of seed production, from sowing to harvesting, ensuring the highest quality of seeds for our manufacturing processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the production of foundation seeds, coordinating with various teams, and implementing strategies for the improvement of seed production. This role requires a candidate with comprehensive knowledge and experience in seed production, a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, and an ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the entire lifecycle of seed production, from sowing to harvesting.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including research and development, quality assurance, and manufacturing, to ensure the production of high-quality foundation seeds.
  • Develop and implement strategies for improving seed production processes and efficiencies.
  • Monitor and manage seed inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels for manufacturing needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to seed production and quality.
  • Collaborate with research and development teams to develop new seed varieties and improve existing ones.
  • Analyze seed production data and generate detailed reports on production performance, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Train and mentor team members on best practices in seed production and quality control.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Botany, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in seed production or a related role in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in managing seed production processes, from sowing to harvesting.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and how seed production impacts these processes.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze seed production data and generate detailed reports.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and mentor team members.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address challenges in seed production.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex seed production concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Proficiency in using software and technology related to seed production and inventory management.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards related to seed production and quality.
