Position Overview: As an Intake and Placement Supervisor, you will supervise the Agency's Intake and Placement staff on a day-to-day basis. Ensures that youth referred to the agency are placed in accordance with licensing state regulations, state contract and grant requirements, and Agency policy/procedures. Promotes the well-being of children, participates in staff meetings/trainings and coordinates with staff from other agencies involved in providing services to children. Performs the following duties directly or through subordinates.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and improving quality in placement services, using assessment tools for accurate evaluations, promoting safety, and aiming for the least restrictive placements.
  • The supervisor ensures compliance with agency standards, oversees 24-hour intake services, maintains relationships with agencies, monitors contract outcomes, and ensures documentation accuracy.
  • Additionally, they coordinate with performance improvement for compliance, attend off-site meetings, uphold cultural sensitivity, and encourage teamwork.
  • Will be required to travel in order to attend meetings, training, or conduct business off site. Must have a valid driver's license and meet agency underwriting standards if driving on agency business. Not required to transport clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business-related or social service field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in child welfare or managed care required.
  • Valid driver's license and meet driving standards.
