Brownlee Cale are hiring for Forward-Tipping Dumperf Operators for groundwork on a highways project in Gloucester for a Civil Engineering firm. The client is looking for operators to start at a week's notice.
Essential Requirements:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Dumper ticket (essential).
- Proven experience operating Forward Tippng Dumpers on highways or civil engineering projects
- Experience with groundworks such as trenching, drainage, and site preparation, particularly on highways projects.
- Knowledge and understanding of site safety and operational procedures in a construction environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow instructions accurately.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks associated with groundworks and excavation.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with site supervisors and other team members.
Desirable Skills:
- Additional construction tickets or qualifications (e.g., CSCS, First Aid).
- Experience with highways-related machinery and tasks, such as road preparation, drainage installation, and traffic management
- Knowledge of machinery maintenance, fault identification, and troubleshooting.
