Essential Job Functions: - Setup and maintain product code Material Master records in SAP.
- Maintain corporate formulations in T-Create and SAP computer systems.
- Handle daily formula requests and transfers.
- Manage RMCs of fragrance formulations and requests for this information.
- Cost book maintenance in One-T and SAP computer systems.
- Manage the Fragrance Safety & Regulatory departmental documents in electronic databases.
- Performs various clerical duties in the Corporate Safety & Regulatory Affairs Department, including ordering of office supplies, supply requisitions, scanning, accounting cost charge back activities, ordering of meals for departmental activities.
- Assists with preparing and maintaining departmental procedures.
- Responsible for checking equipment and tools prior to usage. If obvious damage /malfunction is noticed or if unsure about operability, report immediately. Do not operate until it is safe to do so.
- Responsible for reporting hazardous situations and EHS concerns, so that action can be taken.
- Responsible to consistently apply EHS considerations to protect health and safety of oneself and others' and prevent adverse effects to environment.
- Responsible to follow compliance and other obligations, while understanding the consequences of not following them.
Knowledge and Skills: - Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are needed.
- Attention to detail. Must be highly organized and possess accurate record keeping abilities.
- Computer proficient; experience with Windows, Microsoft Office and Outlook; SAP knowledge desirable.
- Must have ability planning and to work with minimal supervision
Physical Demands: Must be physically able to operate a variety of machines which includes a computer, printer, typewriter, facsimile machine, copy machine, calculator, telephone, laboratory equipment, etc. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may handle hazardous chemicals in the laboratory. The employee will be required to wear all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including but not limited to eye protection, gloves, and lab coat. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. Physical demands vary from sedentary to moderately active work to include standing, walking, and reaching for prolonged periods of time, not to exceed 8 hours for any given activity.
Educational Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent
Experience: 1 - 2 years corporate business experience.
The equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable
