Forklift Operator

ABR is recruiting a Forklift Driver for one of our clients in Amherst, WI. This is a try-before-hire. Starting wage is $17 per hour and the hours are Monday - Friday,
6:30 am - 5:30 pm or so during busy season.

Forklift Driver is responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting materials, supplies, and equipment using a forklift and other warehouse tools. The ideal candidate will be organized, attentive to safety protocols, and comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
•   Operate a forklift to move pallets of materials around the yard or warehouse.
•   Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and assist with organizing materials for job site deliveries.
•   Ensure safe handling and storage of materials.
•   Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance to ensure forklift is in safe operating condition.
•   Assist landscaping crews with material staging and job prep as needed.
•   Maintain a clean and organized yard, warehouse, or storage area.
•   Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines. Qualifications:
•   Valid forklift certification or ability to become certified.
•   Previous experience operating a forklift
•   Strong attention to safety and detail.
•   Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various outdoor weather conditions.
•   Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
•   Basic knowledge of landscaping materials is a plus.
