Our client is seeking a Semi Skilled Labourer to help keep their Fabrication shop tidy and organised during a 4-6 week contract. The suitable candidate must have a valid forklift licence with operating experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating forklifts in a safe and efficient manner
- Assisting with loading and unloading materials
- Labouring and general tidying duties
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Supporting skilled tradespersons as required
- Ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Performing basic maintenance tasks as needed
Job Requirements:
- Valid forklift licence
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
- Good physical stamina and ability to handle manual tasks
- Flexibility to work a 46-hour week schedule
Contract Details:
- Contract duration: 4-6 weeks
- Work schedule: 46 hours per week (4 days x 10 hours, 1 day x 6 hours)
- 15/h PAYE plus 1.81/h holiday pay (can be accrued or advanced) or 20.09/h Umbrella co
- Must be able to start work at 0700 in Renfrew
