We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Station Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining food quality, and ensuring a clean and organized food station. This role is essential in creating a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and maintain food stations, ensuring all items are stocked and presented attractively.
  • Serve food and beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Monitor food quality and freshness, discarding any items that do not meet standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food station and surrounding areas.
  • Assist with food preparation and replenishment as needed.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Avion Hospitality standards as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming which include wearing the proper uniform and nametag when working (per brand standards).
  • Always comply with Avion Hospitality standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Comply with certification requirements as applicable to position to include Food Handlers Safety etc.
  • Always maintain friendly and warm demeanor.
  • Have thorough working knowledge of menus and the preparation required to produce the product according to
  • Avion Hospitality standards.
  • Ensure the completion of necessary food and station preparations prior to open of the Restaurant/Dining Outlet Cafe and Room Service to ensure that guests are served promptly and efficiently during operating hours.
  • Maintain the 'Clean as You Go' policy. Be responsible for maintaining the sanitation and cleaning schedules of the kitchen. Keep all storage areas neat orderly and clean.
  • Ensure that all employees always practice safe work habits to avoid possible injury to self or other employees.
  • Abide by all hotel policies and house rules.
  • Be familiar with the hotel's emergency procedures.
  • Attend meetings as required by management.
  • Perform any other duties as requested by management.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a food service or customer service role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety practices.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
