Justice Resource Institute (JRI), in partnership with the
Department of Youth Services (DYS), is currently looking for a
Food Service Worker (Part-time) in
Taunton, MA.
Schedule: 20 hrs per week
Sunday 10 AM - 6 PM, Monday - Wednesday 3 PM - 7 PM
Salary: $18.00 per hr
This position is for a Food Service Worker within a secure program setting.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Preparation, distribution and handling of meals.
- Maintenance and sanitation of the kitchen, dining room, and all food storage areas.
- Interact with residents, families, co-workers and supervisors in a respectful manner; provide humane treatment and assure dignity for all residents.
- Ensure the safety and security of the kitchen, dining room, and food storage areas as well as all related equipment.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism by exhibiting pride and knowledge in performance.
- Follow all JRI and DYS Program Policies and Procedures.
Requirements: - Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience with preparing, serving, storing of meals and kitchen sanitation preferred.
- Able to lift and carry heavy objects, and stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Acceptable state/federal background checks including CORI, DCF, drug screening, psychological and medical screening.
- Able to work the schedule that could include evenings, holidays, and weekend work times.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
